Ingredients
6boneless skinless chicken breasts
6slices hamfully cooked
6slicesswiss cheese
1/4cupall-purpose flour
1/4cupParmesan cheesegrated
1/2teaspoonrubbed sage
1/4teaspoonpaprika
1/4teaspoonpepper
1Tablespooncanola oil
1cancondensed cream of chicken soupundiluted, 10-3/4 ounces
1/2cupsour cream
1/2 - 3/4cupcooking wineUse water if no wine!
Chopped fresh parsleyoptional
Instructions
Flatten chicken to 1/4-in. thickness; top with ham and cheese. Roll up and tuck in ends; secure with toothpicks.
In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, cheese, sage, paprika and pepper; coat chicken on all sides. In a large skillet, brown chicken in oil over medium-high heat.
SLOW COOKER INSTRUCTIONS
Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Combine soup, sour cream and cooking wine; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or internal temp reaches 160°. Remove toothpicks. Garnish with parsley if desired.
OVEN BAKED INSTRUCTIONS
Transfer to a 9x13 dish. Combine soup, sour cream and cooking wine; pour over chicken. Cook on 375° for 30-45 minutes or internal temp reaches 160°. Remove toothpicks. Garnish with parsley if desired.
