Spinach Cheese Pinwheels

Spinach Cheese Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent rolls 8oz
  • 1/3 cup garlic & herb cream cheese spreadable
  • 4 slices deli ham thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup baby spinach packed fresh

Instructions

  • Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles; seal perforations. Spread cream cheese over each rectangle to within 1/4 in of edges; top with ham and spinach.
  • Roll up each jelly-roll style, starting with a short side. Pinch seams to seal. Refrigerate or freeze for 15 minutes before slicing for easier slicing. Cut each into 6 slices.
  • Place the slices cut side down on greased baking sheets. Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers
  • Yield: 2 dozen

Notes

light alouette garlic & herb cheese spread or boursin cheese spread
Some variations you can add: onions, mushrooms, oregano, black pepper, other shredded cheese (may need to cook longer)
